WWE News: Updated Official And Rumored Matches For ‘WrestleMania 31’ – New Match Added
After the big events of Monday Night Raw, the card for WrestleMania 31 has now been updated, and another match has been officially added. There are now eight confirmed matches, but some are still rumored to be happening, so with two weeks left to go, there is still a lot that could change.
WWE has confirmed now that Randy Orton will indeed take on Seth Rollins. There are no stipulations or anything like that, but it will be a straight-up grudge match, and their confrontation is now officially the eighth match on the WrestleMania 31 card.
As many saw on Raw last night, Orton was about to be ambushed by the entire Authority, but in old WCW-style, Sting appeared to help him out. One would have thought the announcers would scream, “Here comes the nWo! Here comes Sting!”
Another change to the WrestleMania 31 card reveals the list of participants for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been updated with new names. Mark Henry, Goldust, and Heath Slater were all added to bring the total to 17. There will reportedly be 20 wrestlers in the Battle Royal.
The full card is as follows barring any additions or changes.
- WWE World Title: Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Roman Reigns
- Sting vs. Triple H
- Intercontinental Title Ladder Match: Bad News Barrett (C) vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Stardust vs. Luke Harper vs. R-Truth
- Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins
- Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker
- The Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee & Paige
- United States Title: Rusev (C) vs. John Cena
- Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Now, there are still rumors of a big Tag Team Title match being added to the card. The Brass Ring Club could end up defending against Los Matadores, The Ascension, and A New Day. The Usos would be a part of it, but WrestleZone reports that Jey Uso may be out for a while with a shoulder injury.
There is a lot of talk right now of William Shatner and Dennis Haskins getting involved with WWE, and they would join in on the feud between Zack Ryder and Adam Rose. Some thought those two wrestlers would be pulled from the battle royal for a celebrity match, but it doesn’t look as if that will happen just yet.

It appears as if the WrestleMania 31 card is almost complete and set in place. Perhaps a tag title match will round out the card, but that seems to be all that’s left to add unless WWE has a major surprise in store for wrestling fans. The Hall of Fame class will be introduced to the crowd, and LL Cool J will be performing as well, so that’s sure to eat up some time.
WrestleMania 31 is less than two weeks away, and there are some big questions to be answered about many things. The card has come together nicely with some great matches, but rumors could always come true and more may be on the way.
