Thomas Ravenel Speaks On Second Christening After Split From Kathryn
Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel is back for the second season, and he has a mission. This new father is determined to get involved with politics once again, and the season premiere did address his political dreams – and the struggles. In a scene during the episode, Thomas was seen campaigning and collecting signatures, but it was clear that people were not supportive of him.
Thomas Ravenel has a dream of working in politics once again, but it may be hard for him to really push his agenda given so many people judge him for being a criminal and a former drug user. But there is one thing that he has going for him; Ravenel is now a father of little Kensington, who is about to turn 1-year-old. And the premiere episode of this season revealed that Thomas is living under tight conditions.
According to a new Bravo report, Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel was caught flirting with the godmother of little Kensington during the first Christening, which resulted in Kathryn creating the second Christening. Now that Thomas and Calhoun have split, Ravenel is sharing his true feelings on the matter.
“I wasn’t adamant about a second Christening nor was I opposed. I guess it was just a wonderful blessing we all wanted to continue celebrating,” Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel has revealed after the first episode aired.
In real life, Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel has split from Kathryn Calhoun. According to the Inquisitr, Thomas left her because the age difference was too much. In addition, it looks like this season of Southern Charm will be much more dramatic than the first. But there is one thing Ravenel enjoys – his daughter Kensington. And he admits that parenthood has changed him.
“How it gives you a true sense of responsibility and how you quickly develop the virtue of patience,” Thomas reveals about what he enjoys the most about fatherhood, adding, “I remember literally leaving employees who check their baggage at the airport. I always travel with a carry-on. I’d never wait on those employees; I’d just grab a cab and tell them I’d see them at the office. So I not only gained a small piece of immortality but also a profound sense of responsibility and the virtue of patience.”
It will be interesting to see how their relationship will slowly come to an end throughout this second season of the show. Plus, with rumors of infidelity, how can Thomas not be concerned about the age gap between them?
