Suzanne Somers’ Pie On DWTS: ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Highlights Include Chris Soules And Rumer Willis [Video]
Suzanne Somers earned fame as an actress and creator of the infamous fitness infomercial for the Thighmaster, but now the 68-year-old is getting recognition on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS). It’s not all rumbas and roses, however, as Somers’ practice included getting hit with a pie for International Pi Day, reported the Daily Mail.
Who would hit the lovely lady with a pie? The crust culprit was her own partner, Tony Dovolani, who decided to celebrate Pi Day (which honors the math symbol for 3.14 plus a trillion numbers) by taking a pie and mashing it against her face.
As for how Somers did when it came to the all-important judges’ review, Suzanne and Tony missed the mark but her legwarmers really rocked, reported Us Weekly. The duo earned 25 out of 40.
So which amateurs and professionals tripped lightly on the DWTS dance floor? Say hello to Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who earned 32 out of 40. Julianne Hough even singled the two out as the potential winners of the coveted Mirror Ball trophy.
However, they do have competition in the form of Chris Soules and Riker Lynch. Initially, it seemed as if the latter, with partner Allison Holker, were going to be the front-runners. The dancing duo charmed the judges, and earned 31 out of 40.
“[You have] the coolest vibe I’ve seen since I saw my friend Billy Idol,” name-dropped Bruno.
But Lynch wasn’t quite so charming off the dance floor.
“[My burp] tasted like peanut butter,” he mused. “I sweat like, a lot.”
There was considerable debate as to how Soules, known as Prince Farming due to the country roots he exposed on The Bachelor, but partnered with Witney Carson, Chris succeeded in earning 26 out of 40, and charming Judge Bruno.
“[You are] rugged yet totally charming,” complimented the sometimes curmudgeonly judge.
Soules made a late entrance as the “mystery” contestant for Dancing With The Stars, as the Inquisitr reported. He first had to appear on The Bachelor finale to do the who-will-get-it-hold-your-breath decision of giving one woman that faithful, final rose.

As a result of the delay, the announcement on Witney Carson’s partner also was postponed, leaving her in the early sneak peeks as something of a wallflower.
Do you think that Chris can catch up with and even overtake the other Dancing With The Stars contestants to woo viewers and manage to capture both the Mirrorball Trophy and his true love?
