Chris Brown Gives Fatherhood A Try
Chris Brown has been getting in some daddy-daughter time, according to various media reports. Rickey reports that the “Loyal” singer was spotted in Houston hanging out with his daughter Royalty. The child’s mother Nia was also present with her half-sister, but there wasn’t any indication that the two former lovers were getting chummy. Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time if they had.
Nia Guzman-Amey reportedly met Brown at the Toyota Center where he was having a concert as part of his Between the Sheets tour. As far as the public is aware, this is the first visitation between Chris and his nine-month-old daughter since news of his paternity rocked media headlines. Over the course of the past couple of weeks, gossip rags have indicated that things have been strained between Brown and Amey after she allegedly leaked his paternity to the media — which ultimately ended with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran walking out on him (supposedly for good this time).
TMZ shared the news of the visitation earlier, complete with photos showing Nia Amey carrying her stiletto-heeled shoes while a bodyguard carries the baby. The photos have sparked a healthy amount of speculation among fans of Chris Brown — in particular, Nia’s real motives for showing up in those sky-high heels. Could she be trying to catch Brown on the rebound now that Karrueche is gone? She already has a baby with him, so it’s not out of the question.
Speaking of Karrueche Tran, she’s been reportedly doing fine. In fact, it seems that the entertainment-obsessed media is giving her the celebrity treatment after she publicly kicked Brown to the curb for keeping his daughter with Nia Amey secret. Madam Noire recently published an essay on Tran and how she finally had enough of being treated poorly in a relationship that many believed was going nowhere. Even Tran herself had once declared that Brown didn’t treat her right in one of her famous social media tirades about him. While some fans may believe she’ll end up back with Brown, she’s remained consistent thus far in avoiding him.
It certainly looks like Chris Brown’s world was completely turned upside down seemingly overnight, but he’s adapting to it. Here’s to hoping he makes visitation with baby Royalty a regular thing, and not just a “might as well” type of thing. As for his ongoing relationship troubles, his friends have warned against getting into a relationship with his baby’s mother. Do you think he’ll heed those warnings?
