Kevin Youkilis Reportedly Engaged to Julie Brady, Tom Brady’s Sister

It’s like a royal wedding for Boston.

According to a recent report by the Boston Herald’s Inside Track, Red Sox slugger Kevin Youkilis is now engaged to Julie Brady, the sister of Patriots QB Tom Brady.

Per the report, Youk, 32, and Julie, a school teacher in California, met at a post-game party in 2011 at Patriot Place near Gillette Stadium, right after The Pats lost to the Jets in the 2010 playoffs.

While the Inside Track report did not mention how the actual proposal went down, it did point out that Youkilis was with the Bradys in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl.

If the reports are true, it will be Julie’s first marriage, and the second stroll down the aisle for the player known as “The Greek God of Walks.”

In 2008 Kevin Youkilis had a marriage ceremony with Ben Allfeck’s ex, Enza Sambataro, but apparently the paperwork was never filed to make it legal. That couple split after two years.

The Herald reports Julie will move to Florida from California to be with her beloved big leaguer during the spring pre-season training that will begin in late February.

Although the news of a Youkilis – Brady engagement is sure to send any Boston fan spinning in delight, it needs to be mentioned that it was only four months ago that the Herald reported Kevin Youkilis was dating Brady’s other sister, Nancy. Shortly after that story’s posting, it was removed from the site.
