Chris Soules ‘DWTS’: ‘Bachelor’ Ready To Take Home The Mirror Ball Trophy?
Chris Soules just finished up an emotional and highly-dramatic season of The Bachelor. Now, just one week after debuting as a couple with his fiance Whitney Bischoff, Iowa farmer Soules is about to try out another television endeavor: Dancing With the Stars.
Soules has some help in his quest to win the mirror ball trophy. He is paired with Witney Carson, who took home the top prize last season with former Fresh Prince star Alfonso Ribeiro. Carson wasn’t pleased that she had to meet with Soules in his hometown of Arlington, Iowa, since it was “freezing cold.” She told ET Soules might have some dancing talent: she said he was unexpectedly rhythmic.
Soules himself is just trying to stay in the game, although he made it clear he intends to take the competition seriously.
“I feel like if I’m going to actually do okay at this whole dancing thing, I need to focus and be here and really commit to it. So I’m here till they send me home I guess.”
He is keeping his fans up-to-date on Twitter about his rehearsals and his appearances on the program.

While Soules is working on his dancing skills, he is also enjoying romantic time with Bischoff. The two shared Instagram pics of a smooch on a cocktail date and a photo shoot of Whitney’s, with Chris happily looking on.
Although Chris Soules’ Bachelor season has just concluded, there is also immense interest in the new Bachelorette season which will debut in May. Both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were named as dueling Bachelorettes, with the guys choosing for whose heart they should compete. Reality Steve tweeted out the spoiler of who is the new Bachelorette and also revealed that both women continue to be involved in the show.
Chris Soules is not the only ABC star to feature on this season’s Dancing With the Stars. Robert Herjavec, investor on the reality competition program Shark Tank, is also making his ballroom debut. Herjavec is paired with Kym Johnson, who also danced with another shark, Mark Cuban, on DWTS a couple of years back.
This season also features Suzanne Somers, Redfoo, Rumer Willis and Michael Sam among the celebrity contestants. Former pro dancer Julianne Hough is joining the judges’ panel. Long-time hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are also back for Season 20.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays on ABC.
