Bobbi Kristina Brown: A Family Divided – Does One Hide A Sinister Secret?
For the past month and a half, Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in an Atlanta hospital, comatose and fighting for her life following an incident that found Bobbi Kristina face down in a bathtub, unresponsive. Since this event mirrors the death of her mother Whitney Houston three years ago, speculations abound on whether this was an accident, a suicide attempt, or possibly murder. Several family members are suspicious that one of their own is responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s condition. Does one of them hide a sinister secret?
Though the police are investigating the matter, reportedly as a criminal case, precious little is known regarding what information, if any, has yet been found. The questions are many, and answers so few, that even Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family are split in their theories of the events leading up to the near drowning of then 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina. Accusations of foul play have been made against members of both the Brown and Houston clans.
Bobby Brown, father of Bobbi Kristina, and her grandmother Cissy Houston have kept a consistent vigil at her bedside, asking for #PrayForBK. One might assume that the heads of the Brown and Houston families, the closest of Bobbi Kristina’s relatives, would be the most trustworthy. The remainder of Krissi’s family, however, are a bit more difficult to read.
Nick Gordon, foster brother turned boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina, claims to love her and have her best interest at heart. However, Gordon has not been to the hospital even once to see Ms. Brown in the six weeks she has lain in a coma. He claims Bobby Brown will not allow him to visit Bobbi Kristina, but a report by Fox 59 states otherwise. Taking to Twitter, Gordon revealed his feelings for all to see.
“Let me in the hospital to see my girl and let her hear my voice. If she hears my voice, let me massage her, play her favorite music I believe it will help.”
Bobby Brown responded with a firm statement delivered through his lawyers.
“Let me be very clear, Mr. Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit. Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe.”
The debate went on with Bobby Brown requiring Nick to “place in tangible form his understanding of the events that lead to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina”, and Gordon’s lawyers declaring he had every right to refuse to answer to Brown.
But really, if Nick loved Bobbi Kristina that much, wouldn’t he do whatever he could to be by her side?
In a related report by the Inquisitr, the aunt of Bobbi Kristina on the Brown side, Leola Brown, blames Whitney’s sister-in-law, Pat Houston, for the negative turn Bobbi Kristina’s life had taken, and accuses Nick Gordon of foul play regarding the bathtub incident.
Another Brown family member, Jerod, has been throwing around accusations for a while now. Though Bobby Brown has said that Jerod Brown should be completely ignored and his accusations disregarded, Bobbi Kristina’s cousin continues to speak out.
Jerod Brown agrees with Leola’s suspicion of Pat Houston, and goes one step further by claiming she is actually responsible for murdering Whitney Houston.
“Auntie Whitney was murdered not drowned. That’s a fact. Now the whole bathroom plot shows up again w/ Bobbi Kristina’s situation. C’mon are you people that bold to perform this act again on my family. And the public believes whatever these people put in their faces, I mean it is convincing if you’re not on the inside. However, I will let it be known Kristina has always had suspicion about Pat Houston. Soon evidence will be handed over to assist this investigation.”
