Jessica Alba has a new look, and it’s an adorable bob that looks like a blast from the past. The actress shared her pixie cut while appearing at a publicity event for The Honest Company, reported E News .
Alba shared her change with a caption that said it all.
“Uh oh someone chopped off her hair!”
So why the decision to go for an old-fashioned bob hairstyle? It’s actually a shorter version of a hairstyle that Alba enjoyed a year ago. Her hairstylist, Jen Atkin, shared the collage of the special fashion bob, which provided Jessica with texture and a longer front.
So how does Jessica stay so slim? As the Inquisitr reported, Alba relies on a combination of CrossFit and a Paleo low-carb diet. But the energetic entrepreneur always makes time for her daughters.
As the mother of two young girls , Jessica is empathetic in her belief that beauty comes from within, reports E News .
“I want my girls to know that beauty is being kind…beauty is helping people…beauty is humility,” Alba said.
While Haven is only 3-years-old, Honor is now 6, and Jessica believes that it’s never too soon to begin positive body image lessons.
“Growing up, whenever I was bullied, my mom would say, ‘You’re a beautiful girl. They’re just jealous.’ It never helped.”
As a result, Alba seeks to be a role model for her children. And they’re one reason that she co-founded The Honest Company , reported Entertainment Tonight .
“I really am building The Honest Company for them,” revealed Jessica. “I’m really hoping that … The Honest Company is some place that they would like to work later, when they’re older.”
But Alba isn’t going to force her daughters to work for the company, she stressed. Instead, she wants to inspire Honor and Haven to dream big and then achieve whatever it is that they most desire.
“If not [working for The Honest Company], I hope they’re inspired to be entrepreneurs. And to really push the envelope on you know what they can do with their life and how they can make an impact.”
In addition to providing inspiration for her goals, Jessica hopes to educate others through The Honest Company.
“People need access to good, quality education and they need access to the answers. So, we’re here at The Honest Company to do that.”
