Pamela Anderson: Brandon Becomes His Mom Pam’s ‘Date’ For Red Carpet Gala After Third Split From Husband
Pamela Anderson and Brandon Lee turned heads at The Gunman premiere in Los Angeles as they waltzed down the red carpet. But Brandon isn’t just a typical date for the actress. He’s her 18-year-old son from her marriage with Tommy Lee, reported the Huffington Post.
At 47, Anderson has earned fame as an actress in Baywatch as well as for her animal rights activism with PETA, which includes following a plant-based diet.
But the vegan actress also has become known for her personal history of relationship break-ups and make-ups.
Most recently, Pamela separated from Rick Salmon for a third time, according to the New York Daily News. They married after meeting in 2007, then had that marriage annulled.
After the annulment, the two married again in 2014. Pamela subsequently filed for divorce that summer, then changed her mind. And now, last month, Anderson again filed for divorce.
Although she may have a history of rocky relationships with men, Pamela told Parade magazine that she’s focused on raising her children to respect women despite her own problems, including childhood sexual abuse.
“I want them to respect women. I say even if it’s just for mom. I haven’t given them too many shining examples in our personal life. I still struggle with self worth and trying to fix people. I’m surrounded by broken toys.”
Anderson revealed that because of being abused as a child, she decided to create the Pamela Anderson Foundation. Its mission is to protect human, animal, and environmental rights.
Although discussing her past was challenging, Pamela emphasizes the rewards.
“It felt like freedom. I had wonderful support. I wanted people to know they are not alone. Things happen. Life can be cruel and uncomfortable at times. That doesn’t define you. It’s how we survive and create a colorful life with our experiences. Good and bad.”
Many female celebrities worry about getting older and losing their career opportunities. But Anderson says that she’s not concerned about aging.
“I have 5 film projects this year. All incredible artistic ventures,” she said proudly. “I’ve just signed with Next Modeling agency for commercials and appearances.”
As the Inquisitr reported, supermodels Christie Brinkley and Cindy Crawford also are determined to prove that getting older doesn’t mark the end of their professional careers.
Sexy at 61, Christie also follows a plant-based diet, contending that she feels it provides her with the most bounce to the ounce and helps her stay forever young.
“I haven’t touched a piece of meat since I read a graphic description of Chicago’s slaughterhouses when I was 12. Over the years I’ve gone through all the varying phases, but currently I’m a vegetarian who doesn’t eat fish or dairy except for goat’s and sheep’s milk.”
