Bruce Jenner’s Show On Hold: Sex Change Surgery Postponed?

Bruce Jenner’s show is on hold. The series, which is going to document the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star’s transition from man to a woman as well as his sex change surgery, which is reportedly scheduled to happen sometime this summer, has been pushed back a bit.

According to TMZ, Bruce Jenner’s show is on hold because the former Olympian felt pressured by producers at E! and had some concerns for the way the series is impacting his children. Bruce is the father of six kids: Casey, Burt, Brandon, Brody, Kendall, and Kylie, who will all likely feel the heat from the press once the docu-series begins to air.

There are allegedly two big reasons why Bruce wants to hold off a bit on the series. Jenner’s three sons are a cause for concern, as Bruce wants to make sure they are all “in a good place” about the transition and are mentally and emotionally ready to handle the huge change their father is going through as he begins his life living as a woman.

Jenner is also reportedly still in turmoil over the car crash that he allegedly caused, which sent multiple people to the hospital and ended one woman’s life. With all of this going on, there is a possibility that Bruce could pull the plug on the show, which would probably get huge ratings for the network.

In addition to the show, Bruce Jenner is also scheduled to do a big interview with Diane Sawyer about his sex change process.

Meanwhile, Bruce could still be appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Variety reports that the Kardashians recently signed a $100 million deal with E! to continue the reality show and its spin-offs for the next four years.

All the while, Bruce’s sex change surgery is still scheduled for summer. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jenner has been preparing for the operation by increasing his hormone intake and visiting his therapist on a regular basis.

“It was recently suggested that Bruce increase the visits to twice weekly, however, to cope with the aftermath of the fatal crash. The therapy was required by the doctor that will be performing Bruce’s sex change operation, and it has helped Bruce tremendously.”

It seems that Bruce is really looking out for the best interest of his family while undergoing such a drastic change.
