Justin Bieber Performs Acoustic Show After Tennis With Eugenie Bouchard, Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell At Charity Event
Justin Bieber closed the Will Ferrell-hosted 11th Annual Desert Smash tennis tournament with a stunning acoustic set on Tuesday evening.
The 21-year-old superstar was one of four musical acts at the concert. British songstress Natasha Bedingfield, rockers Lifehouse, and a tribute band also performed.
The show followed humorous tennis matches during the day between celebrity guests and professional pros to raise money for Cancer for College, a charity which subsidizes college scholarships for cancer survivors. The event was held at the La Quinta Resort and Club in Indian Wells, Palm Springs and sponsored by Lacoste.
Other celebrities at the charity fundraiser were comedian-actor Kevin Hart, who will be the roast master at Bieber’s upcoming Comedy Central roast. Also in attendance were Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover, Jesse Metcalfe, Timothy Olyphant, former ‘N Sync hoofer Lance Bass, and pro tennis players including Eugenie Bouchard, Mardy Fish, Daniela Hantuchova, Fernando Verdasco, and Sam Querrey.
Back to Justin’s unplugged show.
Videos posted by audience members, many of whom were definitely fans — revealed the singer took to the stage with longtime tour musical director, Dan Kanter.
And the set list? “All That Matters,” “As Long As You Love Me,” “Hold Tight” — which the Biebs added after a request by Hart — “Boyfriend,” “Baby,” and “Home To Mama.”
At one point in the concert, Justin brought one fan up onstage.

He asked the delighted but delighted girl to rap the classic section in “Baby,” and gave her a hug and snapped a shared selfie while they performed together.
From the ton of footage and pics that has surfaced online, the Biebs’ finale was packed to the rafters with female fans.
Danish tennis star and recent Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Caroline Wozniacki, was also in the crowd to watch Justin perform. The pair posed for snaps after his set.
She later captioned an selfie of the pair on Instagram, writing, “Just another night in the desert #beliebit.”

Justin wore all-black for his performance and certainly looked as if he enjoyed himself on the night.
Earlier in the day Bieber partnered with Hantuchova against Ferrell and another player. In yet another match, the singer teamed up with fellow Canadian Bouchard against Bush and Hoover.

The 21-year-old tennis beauty hit the headlines last year during a post-game interview at the 2014 Australian Open when she said Bieber was her ideal date.
In another match, Justin again doubled up with Eugenie and played Hart and Bush. That bout was dubbed U.S. Vs. Canada and was umpired by Ferrell, who sustained a buttock injury from an earlier game.
“Let’s go Canada,” said Bieber, as the proceedings kicked off, The Desert Sun reports.
At one point, Hart is seen joking on the video saying,”My name is Justin Bieber. I need a water break,” in a mock, weak voice.
For his part, the singer didn’t seem that bothered over the jibe and took a water break at the side.

Right after the game, Bush got back to his day job and interviewed Hart and Bieber about the looming public skewering.
The Get Hard star promised the March 30 airing event wouldn’t be “malicious” or “mean” but would be “in the great spirit of fun.”
When Bush asked Justin if he was nervous, the singer replied “Man, I’ve gotta say I’m a little nervous, but it should be a lot of fun.”
Online chatter reveals fans are ecstatic that Justin is returning to the stage more frequently ahead of his highly anticipated new album and intended tour this year.
