Mama June Hospitalized After Honey Boo Boo Diet Intervention And Car Crash: New Reality Show? [Video]

Reality TV star Mama June was hospitalized after her temperature soared to dangerously high levels. Physicians revealed that she was suffering from pneumonia, reported MSN.

Suffering from dehydration as well, Mama June had a 103-degree fever. In her absence, Honey Boo Boo’s father, Mike Thompson, known as Sugar Bear, is in charge of the family.

The hospitalization occurred after a car crash that involved a hit-and-run incident, according to Gossip Cop. The crash left the family upset, but no one was injured.

In contrast, the family previously was hit by a truck about a year ago. That car crash resulted in the need for an ambulance, with Sugar Bear, Mama June, Honey Boo Boo, Pumpkin, and Jessica all injured.

Although Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was cancelled by TLC, the youngest member of the family has been on TV again recently during an intervention for her obesity on The Doctors, as the Inquisitr reported.

Dr. Travis Stork revealed that Honey Boo Boo is considered clinically obese at nine-years-old. She weighs 125 pounds, but is only four feet, six inches tall.

So how did such a young child become so overweight? Mama June provided a diet that included foods such as deep-fried Oreos and Go-Go Juice (Red Bull mixed with sugary Mountain Dew), reported the Daily Mail.

Honey Boo Boo began drinking Go-Go juice to boost her energy during child beauty pageants, when she became a star and earned her own show after enchanting fans on Toddlers & Tiaras.

But now that she and her family no longer have a show, the family has decided to try again by hunting for a network to provide a new reality TV opportunity for them, according to She Knows.

TLC canned Here Comes Honey Boo Boo following the discovery that Mama June had renewed her relationship with a convicted child molester, despite the potential danger to her young children. However, TLC has informed her that the contract is still in effect, and she needs to wait until it ends before jumping into a new opportunity.

However, Mama June claims that TLC broke the terms of the contract, according to TMZ. She contends that TLC was supposed to pay their health insurance.

In return, TLC reportedly plans to pay and just hasn’t sent the money yet. Not willing to wait, Mama June is seeking new opportunities for revenue for her family.
