‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules, Whitney Bischoff Talk Finding Love, Heading To ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff of ABC’s The Bachelor 2015 got engaged on Monday night’s finale and they shared updates with viewers after the show. On Tuesday morning, they appeared on Good Morning America and shared some additional updates. As many expected, he is headed to Dancing With the Stars next, but the two dished out details on moving plans, wedding plans, and their hopes for making babies.
During their GMA chat, Chris and Whitney noted that they got engaged on November 22, but of course it had to be kept mostly under wraps until Monday. They did spend a lot of time together, and close friends and family knew, but is Bischoff ready for life on the farm? She admits it will be a big change, but she’s excited for it.
Chris says his family fell in love with Whitney the minute they met her, and Bischoff has everything he wanted to find in a mate. What comes next? Chris and Whitney are excited to just get back into regular life, though there’s one big project ahead first: Soules is doing Dancing With the Stars, just as many anticipated.
Whitney and Chris will both be living in Los Angeles for his time on DWTS, where he will be partnered with Witney Carson. People shares that Bischoff will be there cheering her fiance on, though apparently, she will be commuting to Chicago for work throughout Chris’ time on the show. While Chris himself jokes about his dancing skills, Whitney says he’s got rhythm and she’s hoping they’ll be in Los Angeles for a while.
What about wedding plans? While some couples hit the “After the Final Rose” special and start talking specifics, Chris and Whitney are moving ahead a bit more slowly. Though they said they’re anxious to build their future together and both want a large family, there are no wedding plans yet.
The Bachelor couple says that they are talking about Whitney moving to Arlington, Iowa in the months ahead. When it comes to an actual wedding, though, they say that they’re just taking things day-by-day. Whitney says that when it feels right, they’ll put it together.
Dancing With the Stars with Chris and the rest of the Season 20 cast premieres on Monday, March 16 and fans can’t wait to see how he does. As for “Bachelor Nation,” as many had started to suspect, both Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will get a shot at finding love when The Bachelorette premieres in May. Will Chris Soules and Whitney eventually make it down the aisle? Bachelor fans hope so and can’t see what comes next for them.
