Nicki Minaj And Kanye West Form A Mutual Admiration Society

It seems that Nicki Minaj and Kanye West have decided to form a mutual admiration society. Just last week, West praised Nicki Minaj whilst addressing an audience of students. West claimed that Minaj was “one of the best things” about his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which he modestly described as the best album in the last 25 years. According to the Mail, Minaj has responded in kind by heaping praise on West.

In an interview with the Mail Nicki Minaj expressed how thankful she was for the opportunity west gave her to appear on his 2010 hit “Monster.” According to the Mirror Minaj told Capital FM that she will always be grateful for the opportunity to appear on the hit track.

“He’s done something that I’ll never forget, you know, he’s given me one of the best opportunities that I’ve ever gotten in my career. I adore him, he gave me a great opportunity, there’s no way I could ever outshine him, I mean he’s just brilliant. ”

“He puts people in a position to do better. When you are an artist and you can do that for people, then you are The Kind, you are The One, and that’s how I look at him.”

It is beyond doubt that Nicki Minaj made the most of the opportunity that West afforded her. Since 2010, Minaj has gone on to become one of the most successful hip-hop artists in the world. In an interview that West would no doubt have been proud of, there was no sign of false modesty when 32-year-old Minaj explained that she thinks she has inspired a whole new generation of female rappers.

“I have always pushed the envelope with lyrics and I always want people to say and talk about a dope Nicki line and I have always been that way.”

“I think that I have inspired new female rappers to not only talk about your vagina but to also say witty things that dudes say and put it in our own words and just be lyrical.”

Nicki Minaj is currently out on her Pinkprint tour but according to Metro, she almost abandoned the tour when her tour manager De’Von Pickett, was murdered last month in Philadelphia. Minaj has told her fans to expect the unexpected when the European leg of the tour kicks off in Stockholm, Sweden on March 16. Minaj says that fans will see her at her most “truthful and honest.” Nicki says that her new album has allowed her to really open up and experience a whole new level of freedom.

If Nicki Minaj’s past antics are anything to go by it could be quite a show.
