Duchess Kate wore pink to the Commonwealth Day celebration at Westminster Abbey. The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge looked lovely in Alexander McQueen, as she stayed close to her husband, Prince William, and his family — including Prince Charles, his wife, Camilla, and of course the Queen.

According to Mail Online , Kate Middleton’s color choice could be a nod to the sex of her unborn child . While she and William have said that they haven’t found out if they are having a boy or a girl, some believe in mother’s instinct, and have been taking Kate’s fashion choices to actually mean something. Could her pink ensemble suggest that she is having a girl? Some people seem to think so.
“She’s been wearing blue a lot lately, which made us think perhaps it was a hint that she’s expecting another little prince. But now she’s thrown us right off by wearing a pretty shade of pink!”
Duchess Kate’s pink coat may have looked familiar, as it was recycled — something Kate does often. She was last spotted in the coat back in 2013 at Trooping the Colour. Interestingly enough, Mail Online reports that this was Kate’s last public appearance before giving birth to Prince George. Now eight months pregnant, this coat has seemingly become part of tradition.
According to Hello Magazine , the Commonwealth Day celebration will be one of Kate’s last appearances before giving birth to her second child. It is believed that the Duchess is due in late March or earlier April, just ahead of her four year wedding anniversary. Kate and William’s new baby will join big brother Prince George at Kensington Palace, where the family of four will reside.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the Duchess of Cambridge has been very cautious while pregnant . She has stopped using a number of beauty products to ensure that her baby is safe during these last few weeks of pregnancy. Despite her switch-up, however, Kate still has her pregnancy glow — and that hasn’t gone away at all.
“Kate is very cautious of products and treatments. Baby’s health comes first. Kate continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment. She loves the effect is has on her skin. [Her mother] Carole [Middleton] is also a fan,” a source shared.
