Bobbi Kristina Brown And Nick Gordon Allegedly Abused Heroin, Cocaine, Alcohol: Can Youth Save Her Life? [Video]
Since Bobbi Kristina Brown was found lying in a bathtub, unconscious, in her home on January 31, investigators have sought to discover what really happened in the hours and days prior to her health crisis. Now a friend is stepping forward to reveal that the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown abused drugs on a daily basis, according to Radar Online. And her live-in boyfriend Nick Gordon joined in.
“Bobbi and Nick would spend a lot on drugs every day, it just depended on how much money they had. It wasn’t unusual for them to spend $1,000 a day on drugs,” revealed Steven Stepho.
And the morning that Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious, she had been using drugs, reported People. Sources revealed that she was abusing both cocaine and heroin, as well as alcohol, frequently acting as if she was high on substances.
They also expressed concern that she had continued to grieve the loss of her mother, without sufficient support. But what about support from Nick Gordon?
The 25-year-old also used drugs and alcohol to the extent that he was high during a recent interview with Dr. Phil, according to TMZ.
The TV psychologist staged an intervention with Gordon, facilitated by Nick’s birth mother. She revealed that Nick is abusing Xanax and alcohol, resulting in the need for long-term rehab. Although the episode does not air until March 11, Gordon reportedly has entered rehab following the intervention.
Amid these revelations, what does the future hold for Bobbi Kristina, who has been unconscious in a medically induced coma, dependent on a ventilator and feeding tube? Her young age may save her, an expert told the New York Daily News.
“In someone young we definitely give her a chance to recover as much as possible, so it is not surprising that they’re keeping her sedated for a long time,” explained Dr. Rafael Ortiz.
The director of the Center for Cerebrovascular Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital revealed that although the coma might seem alarming, it actually facilitates a decrease in swelling. And because the temporary loss of oxygen resulted in the brain damage from swelling, her doctors are waiting to observe an improvement before they attempt to restore her to consciousness.
“That’s the only point (at which) you can make an accurate assessment,” stated Dr. Ortiz.

However, as the Inquisitr reported, Bobbi Kristina’s doctors have already made one attempt to remove her from the medically induced coma.
But when she began having violent seizures, physicians re-induced the coma. Now family members continue to pray for a medical miracle as they watch over the unconscious young girl.
