The Mega Millions jackpot isn’t quite as big, but at a cool $25 million, you could definitely take some time off from work and enjoy a nice tropical vacation. According to the Mega Millions website, no one matched all six numbers — 30, 48, 55, 68, 73 Megaball 5 — in the March 6 drawing , so the jackpot increased to $25 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, March 10. Tickets are $1 each and sold in 43 states, in addition to District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

If you do happen to win a big multi-million dollar lottery prize in either the Mega Millions or Powerball lottery games, it’s a good idea to contact an attorney and a financial advisor before claiming your prize.
NBC gives several tips that winners should read before they start spending their new-found wealth. With millions of dollars in your bank account, you should be able to live a comfortable lifestyle for a long, long time if you invest properly and listen to the advice of financial professionals.
Keep in mind, you will only get a percentage of these gigantic lottery jackpots if you win. Uncle Sam will take taxes right from your winnings, and if you owe the government — or child support — any money, that will be taken before lottery officials cut you a check.
Feeling lucky? Play a $1 ticket for the next Mega Millions lottery game on March 10, or buy a $2 ticket and try your luck in the next Powerball drawing on March 11.
