A new parody of Britney Spears’ classic “Oops!… I Did It Again” music video gives a realistic look at how difficult a full body suit of red latex can be.
Still, Spears maintains a pretty professional attitude in light of the constant squeaks, at least that’s how it appears in the spoof by Mario Wienerroither.
According to the Daily Mail , the music video spoofer made the video by taking an uncut version of “Oops!… I Did It Again” from 2009 and cut out all of the music, replacing it with his own sound effects.
He seems to perfectly time the squeaks, and even adds in some effects for the pyrotechnics in the background.
The “Oops” parody quickly went viral, already getting 2 million views since its posting on March 2.
The original “Oops!… I Did It Again” video debuted in the year 2000, when the singer was just 17-years-old. The song itself continues to be one of Britney Spears biggest hits.
According to the Huffington Post , Wienerroither has also parodied Mick Jagger’s “Dancing in the Street.”
It might be hard to imagine any parody being funnier than the original for that particular video. Nevertheless, the original misses the screams, burps, and other noises associated with two adult men dancing in an abandoned street.
Both this video and the “Oops!… I Did It Again” spoof make you realize the ridiculous lengths entertainers go for their fans.
