Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Aunt Pat Houston Asks For Prayers As Nick Gordon’s Mom Seeks Help From Dr. Phil: TV Air Date

Bobbi Kristina Brown remained in a coma, dependent on a ventilator and a feeding tube, as family members spent her 22nd birthday in her hospital room. Shaken by the life-threatening medical condition of her niece, Pat Houston broke her silence to ask for prayers, reported Us Weekly.

Using Whitney Houston’s Web site as her chosen way to communicate with the world, Pat offered a heart-breaking summary of what she views as the reality for Bobbi Kristina.

“Today is Bobbi Kristina’s 22nd birthday. And we ask you to continue to keep her in your prayers as she is still fighting the battle of her life.”

But while Bobby Brown joins Pat and Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston in prayer, Nick Gordon (the man whom Bobbi identified as her husband) is fighting a very different battle, reported the Daily Mail.

Scheduled to air on March 11, Dr. Phil has staged an intervention for Nick. The episode, which includes suicidal threats, resulted in Nick’s move to rehab.

The decision to become involved came after Dr. Phil received requests from both family members and friends of Gordon. The 25-year-old, who grew up as the unofficial “adopted son” of Whitney along with Bobbi Kristina, had gradually become Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, and the two regarded themselves as husband and wife, according to her social media postings.

But Gordon made it clear through Twitter that he couldn’t cope with his life without Bobbi Kristina by his side.

It was his mother, Michelle, who stepped forward and revealed that her daily communications with Nick made her belief that he could not handle his grief.

“Nicholas is at [the] breaking point. He cannot take too much more of not being able to see Krissi. He blames himself,” revealed Michelle.

“As we sit here right now, my son’s life hangs in the balance. When Whitney was found, he administered CPR to her and called me as he was standing in front of her saying, ‘Mom, why couldn’t I do it? I couldn’t get air into her lungs.'”

However, getting Nick to cooperate was challenging, as the episode shows his frequent shifts of mood. The birthday of Bobbi Kristina seemed to hit him especially hard.

“I’m so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to strong [sic],” he tweeted on the eve of her 22nd birthday. “I love you soooooooo much plz wake up.”

However, Gordon himself is under criminal investigation.He has stated that police are investigating drug use at their home.

As the Inquisitr reported, sources have confirmed that Bobbi Kristina herself used heroin the morning she was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home.

Additional sources confirmed that, in addition to the regular use of heroin, Bobbi Kristina took cocaine and Xanax, and also drank heavily. And, although she had gone to rehab, her depression from missing her mother continued to darken her life.
