According to the arrest report, which was obtained by Us Weekly on March 5, Griffith pinned Evans “against a toilet and forcibly removed an engagement ring from her finger.”
In the arrest report, Evans told police she was staying at a hotel and had returned to the home she shared with Griffith to claim her belongings. Upon her return, Evans and Griffith were said to have engaged in a verbal dispute, during which Griffith requested Evans give him back the engagement ring he gave to her in January.
At that point, as per the arrest report, Evans “went to the master bathroom and was sitting on the toilet when [Griffith] came [into] the bathroom and pinned her against the toilet… [and] wrestled her for the engagement ring.”
After the altercation, Evans claimed she suffered a cut on her pinky finger, which occurred when Griffith allegedly attempted to rip her engagement ring off her ring finger. Once Griffith had the ring in his hand, he reportedly took their car keys and attempted to leave their home.
In Griffith’s account of the altercation, he told a different story. According to his arrest report, Griffith said it was Evans who was the aggressor. Although Griffith admitted he’s never called the cops on her before, he told police she’s injured him in the past. In fact, the arrest report claims Griffith had scars on his back from Evans, but declined to speak to them about the previous incidents.
In a separate report, via TMZ , sources claimed MTV was on hand during the time of the alleged assault , but didn’t see the incident first-hand.
