Catelynn Lowell Confirms August Wedding Date: Will It Be Filmed For ‘Teen Mom’?

Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been together for years, and while they have been engaged for a long time, they have yet to tie-the-knot. The couple has been through a lot together, from enduring a teenage pregnancy, to making the hard decision to place their daughter up for adoption. Not only that, but Radar Online recently revealed how rough of a past the couple had growing up. Despite all the rough times in their lives, the couple is set to walk down the aisle and Catelynn has confirmed the wedding date.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Tyler Baltierra hinted that the couple would be getting married in about six months, putting their wedding date sometime in August. However, little details were provided. It wasn’t until Catelynn Lowell spoke to Cosmopolitan that she revealed when the two would tie-the-knot.

“I have a wedding planner so that helps. [The wedding is] August 22, so it’s getting closer.”

That’s right, Teen Mom fans! Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra will be walking down the aisle on August 22 and that date is quickly approaching. Of course, most fans knew the couple wanted to wait until their daughter, Novalee was a little older and it looks like that is because they have a special role for her in their wedding!

“She’s going to be a flower girl. We’re building this little white carriage and Tyler’s niece will pull her down the aisle, since she won’t be able to walk yet.”

Catelynn gave birth to Novalee on New Year’s Day, and while the couple has shared many photos of the little girl, they have yet to share any photos of her face. Of course, with the premiere of Teen Mom OG coming up fast (it will air on March 23), fans will soon get to meet the little girl.

While the wedding between Cate and Ty is definitely happening, it is unclear if it will air on MTV. Catelynn told Cosmopolitan that she is hoping her wedding will air on TV, but that she has “no clue” if it will or not. It isn’t uncommon for MTV to air Teen Mom weddings and the network has shown both of Leah Messer’s weddings as well as Kailyn Lowry’s wedding. In the past, MTV filmed Cate picking out her wedding dress and many fans hope that means they will capture the wedding as well.
