Katy Perry Doesn’t Have To Worry About Snide Comments From Taylor Swift
Katy Perry is probably just as sick of the Taylor Swift feud as Taylor Swift is. In fact, Ms. Swift recently talked about the feud with the Telegraph and said she won’t talk about Katy Perry anymore in interviews.
“I’m not giving them anything to write about. I’m not walking up the street with boys, I’m not stumbling out of clubs drunk. But I’m never going to talk about her in my interview. It’s not going to happen.”
There has allegedly been a lot of bad blood between the two superstars. Hollywood Life added fuel to the feud’s fire by claiming that both singers were invited to the same Oscars party.
“Uh oh! Will Katy and Taylor’s claws come out for the Oscars?” the website asked
They indicated that both singers got invited to the same Oscars party and that organizers were freaking out that there might be a cat fight during Hollywood’s biggest night. However, Gossip Cop completely refuted the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift story.
“Oscar parties organizers were NEVER concerned about a Katy Perry and Taylor Swift run-in, despite an entirely made-up story. Gossip Cop can bust this wholly fabricated claim, which was never based on any actual reporting, but rather was manufactured from the start.”
Meanwhile, Katy Perry chooses to stay absolutely silent about the supposed feud. According to the Daily Mail, Katy Perry is wowing people on her European tour with her performances and outfits.
“Wearing a day-glow two-piece complete with silver ankle boots, the chart star wowed fans with her powerhouse delivery and revealing wardrobe. She matched the look with fishnet stockings and braided hair, which allowed her to dance with ease,” the newspaper claimed.
The Daily Mail notes that Katy Perry will soon be visiting Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Berlin right before the European dates end in Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe. Katy Perry is riding very high this year after a Super Bowl Halftime Shows that critics said was one of the best ever given. According to Rolling Stone, Katy Perry talked to God before the show and made a deal. She also revealed that she practiced her Super Bowl routine 40 times before the actual performance. Ms. Perry’s work ethic is admirable.
Does Katy Perry really dislike Taylor Swift? Even though Perry hasn’t talked about Swift directly, she doesn’t seem like the type of mean person that would hold on to a feud. Both Taylor Swift and Katy Perry benefit from the publicity of a feud, but it’s about time we stop giving into it.
