Teresa Giudice Quits ‘The Real Housewives Of New Jersey?’
Is Teresa Giudice leaving The Real Housewives of New Jersey after six seasons with the Bravo reality show? According to a new report, the currently incarcerated reality star has had enough of the show.
“I do not believe Teresa and Joe will be filming the upcoming season,” a source close to production told Real Mr. Housewife on March 2.
“[Teresa Giudice] is done with the Housewives.”
Although the source confirmed that “nothing is set in stone yet,” Teresa Giudice may have reached her limit. However, a television host seems to disagree.
As the Inquisitr reported at the end of last month, Wendy Williams doesn’t believe for a second that Teresa Giudice would willingly walk away from the money and fame that comes with starring on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
According to a second Real Mr. Housewife report, Williams revealed the following of Teresa Giudice on an episode of her daytime talk show.
“Teresa misses the spotlight. She is obsessed with finding out what other people are saying about her. What magazines she’s in. How often Hot Topics talks (about her)… Clearly, there’s something wrong with her, but we’ve known that since we met Teresa. She’s a little ticky-boom-boom.”
Teresa Giudice is the only remaining full-time housewife from Season 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. While Dina Manzo, a current housewife on the show, was one of the original five wives, she took a couple of seasons off filming, and Jacqueline Laurita appeared only as a guest housewife on part of Season 6.
During her October 2014 sentencing, Teresa Giudice, along with husband Joe, was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay a substantial amount in fines. In addition to Teresa Giudice’s 15-month term, her husband Joe will serve 41 months behind bars, and the couple will be working for months, if not years, in order to pay back money they allegedly stole.
In addition to Teresa Giudice, the current Real Housewives of New Jersey cast includes her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, her cousin, Kathy Wakile, twins Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea, and Amber Marchese.
Since Teresa Giudice and Gorga, the wife of Giudice’s brother Joe, were the only returning wives, it appears unlikely that Bravo would be okay with not having Teresa Giudice on board for Season 7. After all, most would say the two women are currently carrying the series. So, if one is taken out of the equation, that could spell trouble when it comes to ratings for the series.
Teresa Giudice will be released from prison early next year.
