Lilly Ghalichi Talks Going Back To ‘Shahs Of Sunset’
When the fourth season of Shahs of Sunset premiers on Monday, March 2, on Bravo, one person viewers won’t see is Lilly Ghalichi. In an interview with K9 Magazine, Lilly talked about being on the show for two seasons and whether she would ever return.
Lilly said that she’s much happier now that she no longer has to fight in front of cameras.
“Being on Shahs is an experience I will never forget. To be on a reality show on a national network as big as Bravo is isn’t easy. The entire world is watching, and judging you. It’s a very emotionally tolling experience, and difficult to handle, especially when you’re on an ensemble cast where fighting and drama is encouraged. I will forever cherish my time and experiences on the show, but am so happy to no longer be doing it!”
Lilly doesn’t rule out doing reality TV again in the the future, so long as it’s not Shahs of Sunset or a similar type of show.
“I would never say never, but it would have to be the right show for me to consider it. I have a real life outside of the show, a very busy real life. I run multiple businesses and don’t have time for drama, or to be in an emotional state. If a show came along that had a positive message, and didn’t involve a lot of drama and fighting, I would consider it. As far as another ensemble Shahs type show, not a chance.”
Since she’s so focused on and takes such pride in being a businesswoman, perhaps she would do a reality show that would focus more on her business skills, such as Celebrity Apprentice? As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lilly Ghalichi told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that she left in order to focus on her businesses, which includes a fashion line, eyelash extensions line, and hair extensions line.
Lilly’s departure from the show was celebrated by several of the cast members, especially Mercedes “MJ” Javid. On July 2014, when news of Lilly’s departure first broke, MJ implied to TMZ that Lilly was fired because she was too fake. She also said that the show would definitely be better without Lilly.
The fourth season of Shahs of Sunset features Reza Farahan, Mike Shouhed, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, Asa Rahmati, and newcomer Asifa Mirza. Bravo TV describes Asifa as “half Indian, half Persian, and 100 percent hot.”
