Bodacious Beyonce Shares Wild Workout And Vegan Diet For First Lady’s ‘GimmeFive’ Campaign [Video]
Beyonce has become one of the few celebrities who are known only by their first name. From her perfect physique to her uber-famous songs, the woman who the world calls Queen Bey works hard to maintain her success. And now Beyonce is sharing the secrets to that flawless body, reported MSN.
Responding to First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, Beyonce shared a video revealing her intense fitness routine. That workout includes everything from lunges to leg lifts to punches.
The First Lady kickstarted her campaign by asking celebrities to join her #GimmeFive movement. She sent out tweets asking them to reveal five reasons to get fit, and shared Queen Bey’s video.

“RT if you’re ready to work out with @Beyonce! #GimmeFive of your workout drills (or you’ll disappoint the Beygency).”
Among the famous folks that the First Lady reached out to was Ryan Seacrest, according to the Washington Post.
“Hey @RyanSeacrest: The First Lady has a challenge for you. #GimmeFive burpees, then pass the challenge on.“
Will Seacrest post a video doing those five burpees?
“I heard these were your favorite back in your football days,” said Obama in the video that she included.
And Ryan accepted the challenge on Twitter, passing it onto Nick Jonas.
Hey @FLOTUS, I see your #GimmeFive challenge and pass it on to @NickJonas! #LetsMove
While the First Lady’s “GimmeFive” campaign focuses on fitness, she’s also encouraged a healthy diet. And as the Inquisitr reported, Beyonce is so convinced that her vegan diet is the ideal weight loss plan that she’s created her own gourmet plant-based meal service.
Queen Bey credits her fitness trainer and nutrition guru Marco Borges, who founded the 22 Days Nutrition plan, for inspiring her to go vegan. The two are teaming up for that gourmet delivery service.
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example… He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”
Why go vegan? Marco believes that a plant-based diet boosts your energy and metabolism while enhancing overall health, according to PopSugar. As a result, Jay Z joined Beyonce in the 22-day vegan challenge.
For those who don’t have the time to create their own vegan meals, 22 Days Nutrition offers products ranging from vegan energy bars to plant-based protein powders.
