Demetria McKinney Reveals What Friendships Continue After ‘Real Housewives’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Demetria McKinney may just have been on a couple of episodes of the show, but her relationship with Roger Bobb has really been in focus since she announced that they had been together for eight years. Even though it had been on-and-off for eight years, McKinney stood by her man when people were throwing accusations around.

Demetria McKinney invited the other ladies to Puerto Rico in hopes of creating some strong friendships, but some of the women were not eager to add to their group of friends. NeNe Leakes, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams didn’t even thank Demetria for bringing them on the trip.

According to new Wetpaint Entertainment report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Demetria McKinney is now revealing that she has remained in touch with some of the women, but only those who have a positive influence in her life.

“Those were the two I felt genuinely gave me a chance to see how I was,” Demetria McKinney reveals about her friendships, adding, “Cynthia is who she is; you can’t help but love that. Claudia and I were supposed to be at odds. We are both tom boys, we both have successful backgrounds, we formed a friendship.”

It is awesome that Demetria has been able to settle her differences with Claudia Jordan. In fact, these two were recently spotted together supporting Cynthia Bailey for a Sports One celebratory party. It is interesting that Kandi Burruss is not a part of her friends, since she didn’t take sides in the fight with NeNe Leakes. But the lack of support could have made McKinney question Kandi’s motives.

“Cynthia, Claudia and I are genuinely friends,” McKinney reveals about her current friendships, revealing, “I wanted to show in the video the difference between what people see and what happens behind the camera.”

Even though Demetria McKinney’s role on the show was very limited, it is very possible that she could be invited back for another reason. According to the Inquisitr, Demetria’s relationship with Roger Bobb is something worth exploring, especially since Kenya Moore inquired him about their relationship status. In addition, one of Kandi’s friends dated him throughout the eight years he was supposed to be with Demetria.
