Paris Hilton is probably one of the last people in the world who needs to be gifted much of anything, especially paid for at the expense of one of her most tireless stalkers.
On Oscar Sunday, Paris contacted local authorities when the man, referred to as “Johnny” by the police, showed up outside of her home parked in a Cadillac he had bought for the young heiress. Hilton, recognizing the man from his numerous previous attempts to contact her, immediately contacted the police. TMZ reports that the man was able to enter the Paris’ Beverly Hills gated community by posing as a flower delivery man , a story that was supported by the flowers he had heaped into the backseat of the car.
When Hilton declined his expensive gesture of devotion, the man became irate before leaving. Because the Cadillac was not violating any laws by resting by the curb near Paris’ home, it is still standing there. On Tuesday, Hilton noticed that the car’s windows has been shattered — a violent action that sources tell TMZ has Paris believing it was retribution for deciding not to take the gift Cadillac.
Hilton’s stalker has plagued her for several years, despite several attempts by the family to put an end to his aggressive attempts to romance Paris. In fact, the Cadillac doesn’t even seem to be the most overtly flirtatious method he has used. Hilton once received a wedding dress from the man accompanied by a marriage proposal note.
On a separate occasion, the man flew a plane over the Paris’ family residence in Malibu announcing his love with a sign saying, “Can’t Get Paris Whitney Hilton Out of My Mind.” A separate sky letter asked Paris’ parents for their permission to begin courting their daughter.
Apart from Johnny, Hilton has dozens of other stalkers who have plagued her throughout the years. When Paris got into a physical altercation with actor Jeremy Jackson last July, she remarked that part of the reason the situation escalated so quickly was because she has been put so ill at ease with strangers intruding on her personal space, reported the Inquisitr .
“We’re home chilling and all of a sudden some random dude walks in, busts in and we’re like, ‘We don’t know you. Can you please leave?’ He would not leave. He got very aggressive, started attacking everybody… it was actually really scary. I’ve had so many stalkers and intruders, so when this happened I was very freaked out.”
