Why I Would Vote Donald Trump For President [Opinion] [Video]
Donald Trump has been a celebrity for decades, even before the success of his wildly popular reality TV shows The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice. Say what you will about Donald Trump, the man knows what he’s doing. If Donald Trump does decide to pursue a Republican nomination to run for president in the 2016 election, he has my vote. It would actually be the first time I’ve placed my bid in complete confidence of the candidate.
Our great country is not so great anymore. The deficit continues to climb, Obamacare has caused more problems than it has solved, and we have outsourced so many of our jobs overseas we have left our own citizens fighting desperately for the precious little that remain. Our economy tanked several years ago and is slow to rebound. It’s no wonder. We send our income potential out of the country, support the causes of other nations with money, supplies, and medical help, and yet many Americans cannot afford healthcare. Why should our people struggle to pay for something that is given so freely to those outside our borders? Don’t get me wrong. I agree with helping others, but charity really does begin at home.
One thing Donald Trump has proven time and time again is that he knows how to make money, manage money, and control an empire. He may be a strict boss, but he’s a fair one.
Though Donald Trump has shown interest in running for president in past elections without following through, this time may be different. In an interview with the Washington Post, Donald Trump speaks out about naysayers and his view of the state of affairs in America.
“Everybody feels I’m doing this just to have fun or because it’s good for the brand. Well, it’s not fun. I’m not doing this for enjoyment. I’m doing this because the country is in serious trouble.”
In the following video, Donald Trump shares his views and reasons why he’s considering taking part in the presidential election. Trump mentions the world is “collapsing around us” and other politicians are “all talk and no action.” I have to agree with Donald on both counts.
In a radio interview on the Hugh Hewitt Show, Donald Trump was asked to address concerns that he is “trolling” the Republican Party to promote his reality show, Celebrity Appentice, as well as other upcoming business projects.
“No, I don’t need that. I get more publicity than any human being should want. I don’t seek it. I don’t even have PR people. I mean, they just call, for some reason, I’ve always had a lot of press.”
That’s not bragging, folks, Donald Trump is certainly a much sought-after celebrity and has been for a very long time. The stable history that Donald Trump has displayed only adds to my high opinion of him.
Do you think the 2016 presidential election will include Donald Trump? If so, would you vote for him? Why or why not?
