Justin Bieber Moves To New Beverly Hills Mansion: In Search Of Privacy?
Justin Bieber has a rocking new Beverly Hills mansion to call home, after moving earlier this month from the Ed Niles-designed, Hollywood Hills property he rented at $60,000 per month from December.
Although Bieber moved from a Beverly Hills condo rental just before that, after complaints from neighbors over noise and alleged marijuana usage, it is probable that the reason for the singer’s latest relocation is privacy.
Or rather, the lack of it. While the Hollywood Hills house was architecturally impressive, its open back area meant paparazzi-obtained pics of the singer hanging out with pals — such as models Hailey Baldwin and Kendall Jenner — were regularly published in the media.
According to Celeb Digs, the 20-year-old’s new Beverly Hills home boasts a 6,000 square ft. space, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms. Reportedly around 1,500 square feet smaller than Bieber’s last rental, photos of the stunning pool which comes with its colorful lighting system and high-end finish interiors show why the singer may not mind the reduced size.
The new mansion has terrazzo floors and hardwood throughout, a steam shower, theater, and features large windows and panoramic views.
The website notes the mansion was put on the market for just under $6 million last spring, but since then, no buyers have appeared.
Meanwhile, TMZ adds the rent is listed at $35K a month, practically a bargain.
It certainly looks like Bieber has found another amazing place to live. We wonder how long he’ll stay put this time? The singer has been on the move since moving out of the mansion he bought in Calabasas, California, after a long-running saga of neighbor complaints over noise and alleged reckless driving in the gated community.
The singer’s egging of the house of one of his former neighbors prompted a police raid in January 2014 and a charge of misdemeanor vandalism seven months later.
That was then. Following the end of Bieber’s romance with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez in September, the crooner stayed at the family home of longtime friend, Pastor Carl Lentz of Hillsong NYC Church, for about two weeks, during which he attended church services and bible study classes.
Fast forward to last month, when Bieber posted a seemingly heartfelt confessional/apology video, during which he owned up to what he described as [past] “arrogant” and “conceited” behavior and said he now wanted to “make the best impression” on people.
Since then, Bieber has been on something of a prank-fest with four appearances (to date) on The Ellen Degeneres Show. On Tuesday night, he was seen pranking an elderly lady at a bowling alley on ABC’s brand new hidden camera show, Repeat After Me.
The singer is also heading into his upcoming Comedy Central Roast, which airs on March 30. Bieber will face a lineup of comedians including the Roast Master Kevin Hart, Hannibal Buress, Jeff Ross, and other comics who are yet to be named.
