Michael Jackson Cemented At Ceremony, Justin Bieber Attends
Michael Jackson’s three children helped to immortalise their father in a handprint ceremony. Paris Jackson, Prince Michael and Blanket pressed their hands and feet into concrete at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Also imprinted was Michael Jackson’s hand with a sequined glove, and his feet with a pair of shoes.
The event was also celebrating Michael Jackson’s Immortal World Tour, while the Cirque du Soleil production performed his hit songs. Justin Bieber was also present, performing Rockin’ Robin and getting a warm and welcoming reception from big fan, Paris Jackson:
“We are all very big fans of Justin and his music. I know I am!”
Justin Bieber commented on the significance of Michael Jackson in his life:
“I don’t usually get nervous, but I’m kind of really nervous right now. Basically because Michael meant so much to me and I know he meant a lot to you guys as well. He was more than an entertainer. He was an inspiration the way he was kind, he was gentle and very charitable. That’s why I look up to him. People are going to remember him for his dancing and singing, but people have to remember him for being the man that he was. I think everybody right now should give Michael a round of applause. Everything I do, I look at Michael and I want to be as good as he was.”
Also present at the event were Melanie Fiona, Smokey Robinson, Quincy Jones, Chris Tucker as well as Katherine, Tito and Jackie Jackson.
