Jenelle Evans Arrested: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Gets Another Mugshot
Jenelle Evans of Teen Mom 2 is no stranger to getting in trouble and on February 24, the reality show star found herself arrested again. While some of her prior arrests have been for drugs, her most recent charge was for “driving without a license,” according to a report from Myrtle Beach Online.
The 23-year-old was arrested on Tuesday afternoon and spent an hour in jail before being released on $237.50 bond. At this time, there are few details available regarding the arrest, other than the information that is available online at the Horry County jail website. Jenelle Evans, however, has taken to Twitter to speak out about the event.
While Jenelle didn’t address the incident herself, she did retweet a message which seemingly explained the arrest. It turns out that the reality show star may not have known that she had a suspended license in the first place.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Teen Mom 2 star is reportedly trying to regain custody of her eldest son, Jace. Currently, the boy is being cared for by Jenelle’s mom, Barbara. However, Jenelle reportedly wants to regain custody of the boy, as she has not been able to visit Jace in weeks. A source spoke to Radar Online and revealed what happened leading up to the filing of the paperwork.
“Barbara didn’t take her seriously, but then when Barbara finally got served last week, she got mad. When Jenelle asked last week why she couldn’t see Jace, Barbara said, ‘Well, you’re taking me to court, aren’t you? Alright then, you aren’t seeing Jace’ — then she hung up on Jenelle.”
Rumors emerged, however, that Jenelle Evans recently withdrew the request for custody. However, this seems to be nothing more than a rumor, as Jenelle did take to Twitter to address this.

It is unclear how her latest arrest will impact any custody hearings. The reality show star is set to return to television later this year for Season 6 of Teen Mom 2. Her storyline will likely focus on her being a mother to her second son, Kaiser, while she goes to school and tries to turn her life around. Her engagement will also be seen on the show as she and her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, took a trip to St. Thomas where the engagement took place; MTV cameras were there. However, the two have been having issues ever since their engagement and their current relationship status is unknown.
Teen Mom 2 will air later this year and will include Jenelle Evans.
