Lisa Rinna Would Still Butt Into Kim Richards’ Business, Has No Regrets On Confronting Co-Star
Lisa Rinna says she would still talk about Kim Richards’ sobriety issues if she had to do it all over again. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star says she has no regrets on butting into her co-star’s business.
On Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen showed a clip from last night’s episode of RHOBH in which Kim Richards confronts Lisa Rinna for talking so much about her addiction issues. When Andy asks Rinna if she would she still involve herself in Richards’ issues surrounding her sobriety if she had it to do over, Lisa jokingly says, “I would run for the f*cking hills.” When Andy asks her pointedly if she regrets getting involved, the RHOBH star admits she doesn’t regret it because she was coming from a place of genuine concern for Kim and only came from a good place at all times when addressing her co-star’s issues.
The showdown between Kim and Lisa on Tuesday night’s episode was not surprising, as Richards has repeatedly said she wants everyone to butt out of her business and stop spreading rumors about her behind her back in regards to her sobriety, or lack thereof, including Rinna. In her Bravo blog last week, Kim Richards says she feels the other women are being intrusive and are trying to “fix a problem that doesn’t exist.” As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards also takes issue with the fact that Lisa even talks about addiction because Rinna is no expert on addicts and should really stop with the judging and stereotyping.
In regards to the confrontation on the plane, Lisa Rinna took to her Bravo blog Tuesday night to say that she was not spreading rumors about Kim because the two had talked in Eileen’s kitchen where Lisa told Kim she can get help for her problem, but either Kim was not listening or forgot about the conversation.
“As we have seen before, Kim tends to conveniently forget key events and things that are said in her presence, so maybe I should have seen her response of ‘Blah, blah, blah’ as ‘I am literally and physically not listening to any of this.’ Who knows. But what I do know is that particular conversation cannot be twisted into me talking behind her back. When I speak with someone about someone else, I absolutely HAVE TO then speak to the person I have just spoken about. That is what a friend does.”
While on WWHL last night, Lisa Rinna also said she does not regret anything from this season. She said even if there were things she did that she’s not proud of, she does not regret it because she owns it.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m., EST on Bravo.
