Al Sharpton Is ‘All About The Money’ Eric Garner’s Daughter Said, Project Veritas Video Claims

Eric Garner’s daughter, Erica Snipes, says Al Sharpton is “all about the money” and “egotistical” according to an undercover Project Veritas video. As previously reported, Eric Garner died during a New York City police arrest and sparked “I Can’t Breathe” and Black Lives Matter protests.

Erica Snipes, 24, told undercover journalists with James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas that MSNBC personality Al Sharpton was only concerned with money. Eric Garner’s daughter was also reportedly displeased with National Action Network’s Staten Island chief Cynthia Davis, who was allegedly unhappy that fliers in the racially-charged case were distributed without the NAN logo.

The undercover Project Veritas video was released online on Monday by James O’Keefe. In the video Eric Garner’s daughter reportedly chastised Reverend Al Sharpton for being obsessed with “financial gain.” The 8-minute-long Project Veritas video also highlights interviews with other black community leaders and activities – many of which also had something derogatory to say about MSNBC’s Al Sharpton.

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas undercover journalists connected with Eric Garner’s daughter last month at the St. George Ferry Terminal on State Island.

An undercover journalist reportedly posing as a supporter of Eric Garner asked Erica Snipes, “You think Al Sharpton is kind of like a crook in a sense?”

“He’s about this. [Snipes rubbed her thumb and index finger together to reportedly symbolize money] Instead of me, he [Al Sharpton] wants his face out front.”

Erica Snipes went on to make negative comments about local National Action Network Director Cynthia Davis. Eric Garner’s daughter claimed that the director is nothing more than Reverend Al Sharpton’s “henchwoman.” Snipes claims that Davis once degraded her for handing out fliers about the NYPD chokehold case that did not feature the NAN logo.
According to Snipes, because Reverend Al Sharpton’s organization paid for Eric Garner’s funeral, the group now feels that Erica Snipes is indebted to them.

Reverend Al Sharpton, 60, claims that James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas is “exploiting” Eric Garner’s daughter. “They’re splicing and dicing stuff together. It [Erica Snipes video] was a distortation.” Sharpton went on to describe Erica Snipes as a ‘sincere victim.’

Sharpton went on to say that because the National Action Network secures the necessary permits for vents and rallies, they require that the logo be used on promotional events.
