‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Rape: College Student Claims He Was Acting Out Scene In The Movie

Fifty Shades of Grey prompted University of Illinois Chicago student Mohammad Hossain to rape a classmate, police say. Hossain, 19, is accused of attempting to recreate a scene from the movie by “tying up, whipping, and raping” a girl in his dorm room.

The alleged Fifty Shades Of Grey rape suspect, Mohammad Hossain, reportedly told the Chicago police that he and the 19-year-old woman were simply “reenacting” a scene from the bestselling book and hit movie. Hossain was charged with sexually assaulting the young woman.

Fifty Shades of Grey is an adaptation of the best-selling novel by British author E.L. James. The movie stars James Dornan as the main character and BDSM billionaire Christian Grey. Dakota Johnson plays the innocent college student Anastasia “Ana” Steele. The film just spent a second weekend as a box office topper in both the United States and Canada. Fifty Shades of Grey is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson. The movie has already made about $410 million, according to Universal Pictures.

Mohammad Hossain, an engineering student, also reportedly admitted to whipping and punching the woman, but claimed once again that his actions were all a part of a Fifty Shades of Grey reenactment, and not objected to by his sexual partner.

Hossain, a student ambassador to the alumni association, allegedly took the 19-year-old woman to his University of Illinois Chicago dorm room on Saturday afternoon. Police believe that Hossain asked the young woman to remove her clothing, which she consented to – but she opted to keep her bra and panties on. The alleged Fifty Shades of Grey rape victim also agreed to have her hands and legs tied with belts, according to Chicago Tribune.

The alleged Fifty Shades of Grey rapist used a necktie to cover the mouth of the young woman and then pushed a toboggan over her eyes, before he removed her underwear, Assistant State’s Attorney Sarah Karr told the Cook County court.

Despite the alleged begging and cries from the University of Illinois female college student, Hossein allegedly continued to hold her arms behind her back and sexually assault her while she was tied to the bed. The woman reported the Fifty Shades of Grey rape to local police officers as soon as she left the dorm room. Mohammad Hossain remains behind bars on a $500,000 bail. The Fifty Shades of Grey fan’s lawyer claims he thought the sex was consensual.
