Is Michael Cerussi Engaged To Bethenny Frankel?

Did Michael Cerussi propose to Bethenny Frankel? During a recent trip to Miami, the Real Housewives of New York City star caused a stir when she surfaced wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.

On February 24, Radar Online reported about the trip and the ring.

“Frankel showed off her banging bikini body while on vacation in Miami but all eyes were distracted by the ring she was wearing on THAT finger! Did boyfriend of a year Michael Cerussi propose?”

Frankel and Michael Cerussi began dating several months after she and husband Jason Hoppy called it quits. Then, on New Year’s Eve of 2013, the couple made their debut at a party in Miami. Over a year later, they are still together, and Cerussi reportedly filmed with Frankel for the upcoming Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City.

As the Inquisitr reported at the end of last year, Frankel and Michael Cerussi filmed for the show, but not as much as producers would have liked.

Frankel is being “very secretive about [Michael Cerussi], and their relationship whenever she has been filming,” a source told Radar Online on December 2. “For Bethenny this time, she doesn’t want there to be a strong focus on her personal life.”

“Expect Michael to pop up in scenes, but it won’t be in depth. Bethenny wants to keep the relationship private for several obvious reasons. Her never-ending divorce to Jason Hoppy is the main issue. She doesn’t want him to point to anything she has done with Michael and use it against her in court.”

Although Frankel and Hoppy separated over two years ago, their divorce is ongoing, as Hoppy feels he is entitled to a portion of Frankel’s Skinnygirl fortune. Last year, the pair came to an agreement for the custody of their daughter, Bryn, but when it comes to dividing their assets, the former couple remains at odds.

Frankel and Hoppy met during filming on The Real Housewives of New York City, and prior to tying the knot, agreed to appear on their own spinoff series, Bethenny Getting Married. After the show’s first season, it was renamed Bethenny Ever After, and the couple continued to share their lives with fans. Following Season 3, the show came to an end.

While Frankel and Michael Cerussi have been seen together out in public a couple of times, they’ve kept their romance private for the most part, and have yet to walk a red carpet together.
