‘Dancing With The Stars’ 2015 Casting: Did Emma Slater Get A Contender For Season 20?
The Season 20 cast of Dancing With the Stars will be announced Tuesday morning on Good Morning America, and fans are dying to know who will be participating this time around. Before past seasons, the full DWTS cast has been leaked ahead of time, but that is definitely not the case for this spring 2015 season. There have been a few tidbits emerging, and now the show is teasing a bit about dance pro Emma Slater’s partner.
Emma Slater is back for Season 20 and many DWTS fans are anxious to see her get a partner who has some serious potential. Based on a new photo, via the show’s Instagram page, viewers may have some hope. The post teases Emma at the feet of someone, with a helmet on her hip. It would seem that whoever the guy is, there’s at least some semblance of athleticism to him.
Slater’s previous Dancing With the Stars partners have been Bill Engvall, Billy Dee Williams and Michael Waltrip. While Emma and both Bill and Michael charmed audiences, they weren’t partnerships with a great deal of mirror-ball trophy potential. Is Emma being given a different type of contestant this time around?
DWTS fans are definitely buzzing about this teaser picture. Right now, it would seem that most guesses seem to come down to three names: skateboarder Tony Hawk, snowboarder Shaun White or Bachelor star Chris Soules, who happens to be a motorcycle enthusiast.
Based on Tony Hawk’s Twitter page, it seems that he just spent the weekend in Australia for the Bowl-A-Rama. Shaun White was in Los Angeles over the weekend, with his Air+Style sports competition and music concert taking place. Britney Spears shared a photo of her boys meeting Shaun over the weekend. Based on what those guys were doing over the weekend, many DWTS fans think both Hawk and White may fall into the wishful thinking category.
What about Bachelor Chris Soules? It’s been rumored for some time now that he would perhaps be participating and he’s even said he’d been open to it. What would his connection be to the helmet? Fans will remember that he has referenced a love for motorcycles and took Jade Roper for a ride on his bike during their date in Iowa in a recent episode.
Even before the photo of Emma leaked, there had been murmurs that Emma and Chris would be partnered this season. Is Chris Soules Emma Slater’s partner on Dancing With the Stars this season? Chris seems to be the only one of the three popular guys in the running whose activities over the weekend couldn’t be pinned down with a different focus. It would be interesting if ABC announces Chris right away as a Season 20 contestant, as they held back announcing Sean Lowe until his Bachelor season finished airing.
Other rumored participants include Rumer Willis with Val Chmerkovskiy and possible cast members like Savannah Chrisley, Roseanne Barr, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Malcolm Butler. Those with the show have managed to keep the DWTS spoilers under lock and key this season, as it’s been several years since so few cast member identities had leaked out before the announcement.
Tune in to Good Morning America on Tuesday, February 24, to see the official announcement. Ten of the 12 pros have been identified already and fans can’t wait to see exactly who will be dancing during the Dancing With the Stars 2015 spring season.
