Armie Hammer Arrested for Pot
Social Network and J.Edgar actor Armie Hammer was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Hammer, 25, was arrested in Sierra Blanca, Texas for marijuana possession, during a border patrol checkpoint. The drug sniffing dog discovered marijuana in the possession of the actor’s car.
Although the arrest happened on November 30th, the records leaked today showing Armie had 0.02 ounces of marijuana, three medicinal marijuana cookies and one brownie upon his arrest in Sierra Blanca.
Luckily for Hammer the El Paso’s district attorney didn’t prosecute because the felony requires more than 4 ounces of actual marijuana. The actor’s lawyer Kent Schaffer says that no charges have been presented.
This checkpoint is apparently a very popular place to be busted for pot. Singer Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg were previously busted for holding pot on them last year at the very same location.
