Emma Watson Dating Prince Harry? Time For A Reality Check
Rumors concerning the possibility that Emma Watson could be dating Prince Harry have been flying in recent weeks. As the Inquisitr recently reported, Prince Harry and Emma Watson are two of England’s most popular public figures and the idea that Harry Potter heroine Emma and the 30-year old prince could be a couple has royal watchers and fans abuzz with excitement.
If you are among the Prince Harry / Emma Watson fans obsessing over the potential that the royal family’s naughty bachelor has found his princess at last, prepare for a shocking disappointment. Watson took to Twitter on Sunday to make a statement that seems to claim that she hasn’t found a new Harry in the ginger-haired prince.
US Magazine reports that Emma and Harry are not an exclusive item.
“It’s a fake,” a friend of the prince told a reporter. “It’s such a random story.”
The rumors began earlier in February when Woman’s Day published a story stating that Watson, 24, had been going on secret dates with Prince Harry. The story claimed that the two were getting to know one another quite well after Harry asked friends for help meeting Emma, after which he sent Watson a short email inviting her out with a group of 12 other friends.
The false information soon spiraled out of control, causing the rumored relationship between Emma and Harry to go viral on social media.
A source at the palace told US Magazine “I can see the Internet is going mad for this one.”
Last December, after Watson broke up with boyfriend Matthew Janney after dating for almost a year, Twitter went crazy for photos of Emma posing with Harry Styles of One Direction while attending the British Fashion Awards.
Prince Harry has been enjoying the bachelor lifestyle since breaking with Cressida Bonas in April 2014 after dating for two years, so the potential for a blossoming romance between Harry and Emma Watson was exciting indeed.
In her tweet, Watson seemingly denies the rumored relationship although not saying outright that she and Prince Harry are not an item.

It seems as if Emma Watson and Prince Harry aren’t meant to be, but the rumors were fun and thought-provoking while they lasted.
