‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Jenelle Evans’ Custody Battle Takes A Turn For The Worse

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is reportedly feuding with her mother, Barbara, over visitation with her son, Jace.

As fans of the show will recall, Evans’ mother took custody of her son shortly after he was born and remains as the boy’s legal guardian years later. Since then, Evans has been spending time with her son on weekends when he’s not in school. However, lately, things took a turn for the worse.

On February 20, Radar Online reported the following.

“Jenelle asked her mom if she could simply take Jace to the movies, but Barbara said no, that they had plans. Jenelle told her mom, ‘It’s not to sleep over — it’s just to go see a movie.’ She insisted they had plans and said it was too bad. Barbara then said they could make visitation whenever they go to court.”

According to the source, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was upset at her mother’s refusal, but in an out of character moment, she didn’t lose her cool. On the show, Evans is often seen lashing out at her mother, especially when it comes to her son. So, hearing she stayed calm comes as a welcomed surprise.

“It made Jenelle p**sed, but she kept calm and said ‘okay’ and then hung up on Barbara.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans recently filed for custody of her son after allegedly finding out that Barbara had begun telling Jace to call her “mom.”

In a prior Radar Online report, a source claimed Evans got mad at her mom and filed paperwork in order to get more rights to her son. Since doing so, Barbara has reportedly been refusing to allow Evans to spend any time with Jace.

The source also claimed Barbara was uncomfortable with Jace being around Evans’ fiancé, Nathan Griffith, mainly because of his drinking habits. In 2013, Griffith was arrested for DUI after a wild night at the bar with Evans. In addition, he’s been seen on the show screaming at his fiancé’s mother.

“Barbara’s excuses keep changing. When Jenelle asked last week why she couldn’t see Jace, Barbara said, ‘Well, you’re taking me to court, aren’t you? Alright then, you aren’t seeing Jace’ — then she hung up on Jenelle.”

The source also revealed that Evans hasn’t gotten her son overnight for over a month.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans will return to MTV in season six later this year.
