Kanye West Says He Needed ’30 Showers’ After Amber Rose
After all the backlash from the public for Kanye West’s disrespectful comments regarding Beck’s Grammy win, most people would want to lay low and not stir up any controversy for awhile. But then, most people aren’t Kanye West.
West’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, has been sharing some rather heated Twitter exchanges regarding Kanye’s in-laws, namely Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner. Amber also made reference to wife Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, calling her a “whore.” Suffice it to say, Kanye returned fire Friday morning during his appearance on Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club.
“Amber’s just soaking in the moment. If Kim [Kardashian] had dated me when I wanted, there would be no Amber Rose… It’s very hard for a woman to wanna be with someone that’s with Amber Rose. I had to take thirty showers before I got with Kim.”
Ouch! Do you suppose Amber Rose will ask him how many showers he took after he got with Kim?
Amber Rose appeared on the Breakfast Club podcast last week and prompted the whole feud between her and Kanye West and the Kardashian clan with her criticism of rapper Tyga’s alleged relationship with the underage Kylie Jenner, who is only 17. Tyga has publicly denied the two are dating, but Rose still took him to task last week.
“Kylie’s a baby. She needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax. It’s ridiculous. Tyga should be ashamed of himself. That’s how I feel, for sure. He has a beautiful woman and a baby that he left for a 16-year-old who just turned 17.”
As far as whether the alleged relationship between Tyga and Kylie Jenner is appropriate, Kanye had a very different view than Amber Rose during the interview.
“I think he got in early, I think he was smart. They are closer in age than a lot of relationships that I know. I knew Tyga was smart. [But I] can’t speak on nobody’s relationship.”
There’s been no response to Kanye West’s comments yet from Amber Rose, but it’s likely this just fueled the flame war.
Kanye has been under fire most recently for his antics at the Grammy Awards, going onstage as Beck was about to accept his Grammy for Best Album of the Year. At first, it seemed a joke referring to the infamous Taylor Swift AMA incident, but after the ceremony, Kanye made it clear he wasn’t joking, saying Beck need to “respect artistry” and give his award to Beyonce. West has since tried to clarify he meant no disrespect to Beck, but felt that Beyonce should have won. Again.
It doesn’t seem like Kanye West will have to make any clarifying comments on what he said today about Amber Rose. His intent seems pretty clear.
