Porsha Williams Opens Up About Divorce: ‘I Had Nothing…I Felt Worthless’

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams started filming the show as a proud wife, who would do just about anything for her husband, Kordell Stewart. She really wanted children and a career, but Kordell wanted her to stay at home and take care of his child from a previous relationship. In fact, he wouldn’t give Porsha any children until he knew that she would abide by his rules.

Suddenly, after filming wrapped, Porsha Williams learned that her then-husband had filed for divorce behind her back. Williams had no idea that he was unhappy, even though she had revealed that they did have their issues on the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. But Porsha blamed their issues on regular marital troubles.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is now starting to open up about her feelings in regards to the divorce. Porsha did continue to film the show a few months after he filed for divorce, which showed a raw and emotional Porsha. Now, she reveals that she was heartbroken.

“I went through a divorce on the show,” Porsha Williams reveals in a new interview, adding, “I was kicked out of where I was living…I had nothing. I felt that I was worthless.”

Williams did have the support of her sister and mother to get her through the divorce. As part of her recovery, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams began questioning Kordell’s sexuality, which didn’t sit well with the people who knew him.

Since the divorce, Porsha has been working on building a business for herself. Clearly, she was left with very little, and had to get right to work to make a life for herself. According to the Inquisitr, Williams started working out more and has been showing off her toned body. Along those lines, Williams has also been working on a lingerie line, which is the biggest thing she has done.

“I’m excited, but I’m terrified at the same time,” Williams revealed, adding, that “lingerie was something that I thought about doing for a while now. I’d wake up in the middle of the night, I’d write down ideas, I’d write down want I wanted to do, try to figure it out.”

Even though Porsha was downgraded to a friend of the wives on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she has been working hard to get her life back on track. She has done so by focusing on building various business ventures for herself. In addition, Williams has been rumored to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars.
