How To Watch The ‘Two And A Half Men’ Series Finale Online For Free
The Two and a Half Men series finale is airing on Thursday night, but anyone who won’t be able to make it to a television can still watch online for free thanks to a free trial from CBS.
The long-running sitcom is finally coming to an end after 12 seasons, and though the show has fallen from its peak during the Charlie Sheen era, it’s still drawing quite a bit of attention.
There is speculation that Sheen could be back, as his character, Charlie Harper, was killed — but the body was never found.
Sheen’s character was killed off after he left the show following a very public meltdown and a feud with showrunner Chuck Lorre. But since then, the two have buried the hatchet, and both have hinted that Charlie Harper could be making a return in the finale.
CBS President Nina Tassler wouldn’t comment on whether Sheen would be back, but did say she had full faith in showrunner and co-creator Chuck Lorre.
“Chuck [Lorre] is an extraordinary showrunner. I can promise you there will be a lot of surprises and out of respect from Chuck, and this is a direct quote, he has promised to deliver what he’s calling ‘a mystery sandwich.'”
Ashton Kutcher, who took over for Charlie Sheen after he left the show, was in a sentimental mood as the finale neared. He posted a sweet Facebook message to his co-star Jon Cryer.
“Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work. I will miss working with you every day. You are a true partner in every sense of the word. In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity. Your are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to. See you tomorrow night. #twoandahalfmen.”
Those hoping to watch the Two and a Half Men finale live online are in luck. CBS is streaming it live on the CBS All Access program, which is available for a free trial right now. The episode airs at 9 p.m. ET.
