Lil Wayne Talks More Babies’ Mamas, ‘Free Weezy Album,’ And ‘On Fleek’ But Not To Birdman, Who Buys Reginae Carter $16K Birthday Gift
One interesting tidbit about the ongoing beef between Lil Wayne and Birdman is that Baby still makes an appearance in Lil Wayne’s daughter, Reginae Carter’s, My Super Sweet 16 episode from MTV, as reported by the Inquisitr. In that episode, Birdman is shown taking the Lil Wayne progeny to a jewelry store and asking her what she wants, anything from earrings to other jewelry, and tells the jeweler that he doesn’t need to know the price as Birdman signs away the invoice that is approximately $16,000 for the booty of gems. It’s an interesting appearance by Birdman, proving that despite the fact that adults might not get along in certain situations, the children involved don’t have to be negatively impacted.
As reported by the wildly popular MTV article titled “Lil Wayne Is Confused By ‘On Fleek,’ But He’s Sure His Next Album’s Coming Soon,” Lil Wayne fans might not have to settle for his Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape albums that have been released online recently, to much buzz. In fact, his The Free Weezy album could be released sooner than fans expected the embattled rapper’s album to be released. Those who thought that lawsuits and all that brouhaha with Birdman in Lil Wayne’s effort to be set free from Cash Money Records would hold up his new music indefinitely could be pleased to learn that it might not take forever, at least not according to Lil Wayne’s new Rolling Stone interview.
While Lil Wayne was just waking up at 2 p.m. when the Rolling Stone reporter reached him via phone, he wasn’t ready to talk about lawsuits against Birdman. However, Lil Wayne did offer up the fact that the Free Weezy album should be ready to drop in March — and just like other recent, highly buzzed-about album releases online, it will be given out for free.
“I’m working on it every day, man. I guarantee it’s going to be something dope. If you don’t want a musician being creative, don’t get The Free Weezy Album.”
Tha Carter V, however, an album that’s been done for some time now, won’t necessarily appear as quickly — due to the lawsuits and beef with Birdman. Lil Wayne does sign off with his signature chutzpah with talk of potentially more babies: three new babies from four different women (is that possible?) and learning the definition of “on fleek” from his daughter.
