‘Bachelor’ Deleted Scene: Kaitlyn Bristowe Gets Fantasy Suite Outfit From Mom [Video]
The Bachelor hometown dates found Chris Soules heading to Arizona to meet up with the family of Kaitlyn Bristowe. Bristowe grew up in Leduc, Alberta, but her family spends the winters in Phoenix. That’s where the farmer from Iowa met up with the parents and step-parents of the dance instructor now based in Vancouver, B.C.
As a deleted scene from that episode of The Bachelor revealed, Bristowe’s mom had a surprise for her daughter. Anticipating that Kaitlyn would receive a rose and move on to the overnight dates, her mom gave her a little something for the occasion. Bristowe tweeted out the video clip for her fans to have a look, since the scene never made it to the ABC broadcast.

Kaitlyn’s mom may be all about national pride, and for good reason. Local press in Vancouver has been supportive of Kaitlyn. A recent poll by The Vancouver Sun revealed that 40 percent of respondents would choose Bristowe as the next Bachelorette. Second place, with just under 20 percent, went to Jade Roper, who was sent home after revealing to Chris Soules her nude modeling for Playboy.
While Bristowe has been mum on whether she’s on tap to stick with the Bachelor franchise with a show of her own, she has been actively tweeting about the Bachelor broadcasts. She also revealed she’s been reading Chris Soules’ blog on People by tweeting out a picture of his sweet description of the time he spent with her family.

While Kaitlyn was having fun reliving her Bachelor hometown date, even if there was less family time than she would have liked, host Chris Harrison told TV Guide he thinks Bristowe and Soules have a unique connection.
“Kailtyn and he have had an interesting relationship since Day 1. He sees something in her and did from the first moment they hung out. She’s the anti-Britt and I often see the Bachelors fall in love with different women who represent different things. Britt had that beauty and emotion, whereas Kaitlyn is just fun and he doesn’t have to try or think around her. Chris isn’t the ‘hey, look at me’ guy, so he likes a girl who will be like that, and she’s crazy for both of them and he loves that because it’s crazy in a good way. They have a special bond and I don’t think it’s just kid-friendly stuff. He really adores her.”
The Bachelor airs Mondays on ABC.
