Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Relatives Seek Money And Perks From Media For Interviews Despite Bobby Brown’s Plea [Video]

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father Bobby Brown has repeatedly asked for privacy. But despite that request, numerous media reports have quoted unnamed family members as their sources. Now sources are revealing that the leaks from those relatives are due to money and perks from the media in exchange for information, reported Us Weekly.

While the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston lies in a medically induced coma in a hospital room, some of her relatives are taking advantage of the media’s eagerness for information to seek perks such as free hotel rooms and thousands of bucks in exchange for details.

The interviews from relatives eager to cash in on the situation have been on-going since Bobbi Kristina was discovered unconscious in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Her father attempted to block those interviews by pleading with the media to stop interviewing those sources.

“At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family,” said family lawyer Christopher Brown.

“The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised. Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina. None of them have firsthand knowledge of Bobbi Kristina’s treatment and the medical staff at Emory University Hospital has not communicated with them.”

But despite that statement, Bobbi Kristina’s cousin Jerod Brown provided an exclusive interview about her condition, reported Newsday.

Jerod positioned himself as a go-between among the relatives, Nick Gordon, and the media.

“I’m in contact with Nick,” said Jerod.

“Nick is feeling very emotional right now behind all of this. He’s pretty torn about what’s going on. We sit down and talk about things he wants my family to know and what we would love for Krissy to know, and that is that he loves her and is just waiting for her to wake up.”

Jerod also stated that Nick was seeking legal action to allow him to enter Bobbi Kristina’s hospital room, from which he has been banned, as the Inquisitr reported.

Not true, said Nick through his own attorneys Randy Kessler and Joe Habachy.

“In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not. Mr. Gordon’s only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina.”

What, then, is the truth about Bobbi Kristina’s condition? The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston remains unconscious in a medically induced coma, according to Extra.

Her family is by her side, with Cissy Houston and Bobby Brown staying faithful to their prayers that she will recover.

And as the Inquisitr pointed out, Brown now faces two choices when it comes to his daughter’s future. He can keep her on life support, praying that she miraculously recovers. Or, alternatively, he can request that the machines keeping her alive be turned off.

Both are heart-breaking.
