Duggar Baby Bump Update: ’19 Kids’ Stars Jill, Anna Share Pregnancy Progress Photo
19 Kids and Counting is back with a new season and there are babies on the way. Viewers saw in the season premiere that Jill Duggar Dillard is pregnant with her first baby with husband Derick. In addition, Jill’s brother Josh and his wife Anna are expecting again and this will be their fourth. While the new season starts out at the beginning of Jill’s pregnancy, the ladies are quite a bit further along in real life and just shared a cute photo.
Anna Duggar shared a photo via Instagram showing her baby bump to baby bump with sister-in-law Jill. Jill is at the 34-week point now, while Anna is 20 weeks pregnant. Anna notes that it’s fun to be pregnant at the same time as Jill.
Jill and Derick have shared that they are expecting a baby boy, and obviously her due date is right around the corner. It’s not clear quite yet whether this new season will go on long enough to see Jill and Derick’s son be born, but fans know they’ll get updates in some fashion as it happens. Both 19 Kids and Counting stars look radiant and fans are thrilled for them.
As fans saw in the 19 Kids premiere, Jill and Derick are doing well as newlyweds as Jessa and Ben are planning their wedding. Since Ben and Jessa got married on November 1, fans have already been on baby bump watch for her as well. However, it seems that they may have their focus on a different form of family-building for now.
According to People, Jessa and Ben are passionate about building their family through adoption. Though there have been reports that adoption may not meld all that smoothly with some of the family’s religious convictions, the Seewalds have talked quite a bit about adoption before and seem all the more passionate about it now that they’re married.
Jessa says they hope to adopt a lot of kids, and even if God blesses them with biological children too, “it’s not going to quench our desire to adopt.” They apparently are already exploring adoption right now, and it will be interesting to see how that works out. Many 19 Kids fans would love to see the couple adopt, though Jessa and Ben may find that many programs and agencies have requirements on the ages of parents and length of marriage that may slow down their plans a bit.
The previews for this season have teased that there are babies and surprises on the way and fans can’t wait to see it all play out. Tune in to 19 Kids and Counting airing Tuesday nights on TLC to watch Jill Duggar Dillard’s pregnancy, Josh and Anna Duggar’s progress to add their fourth as well as Jessa Duggar’s wedding to Ben Seewald.
