‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Star Dakota Johnson Comes Clean About Her Obsession With The Film’s Props
Dakota Johnson recently confessed to stealing several pairs of panties from the set of Fifty Shades of Grey, according to a report from the NY Daily News. It’s a secret she’s kept to herself until now, but, as the secret was revealed in a Q&A hosted by Glamour U.K. this past Friday, Dakota also admitted that one other item caught her attention as well.
“I do have a flogger in my house,” the Fifty Shades of Grey star told fans. The flogger was just one of the B.D.S.M. props seen in Fifty Shades of Grey, and is generally used to whip a submissive, as a form of punishment.
“It’s in the garage with dust.”
Ms. Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey, went on to tell fans that, from her perspective, the hardest scene in the film to shoot was a scene that involved no nudity at all. Dakota felt that the interview scene at the beginning of the film was very difficult to shoot, specifically for the technical aspects. The subject of filming brought fans to wonder what might have been her favorite scene to shoot?
“The negotiation scene!”
Although Ms. Johnson admitted to experiencing many cringe-worthy moments throughout the filming of Fifty Shades of Grey, she told fans that meeting Amelia Warner, Jamie Dornan’s wife, had not been one of them.
“She’s incredible. Beautiful, glorious woman,” Dakota said of her co-star’s wife.
Ms. Johnson has also expressed her excitement about hopefully returning to the saga for Fifty Shades Darker and experiencing the process of her character Anastasia, as she develops into a woman, according to Mirror.
“I’m excited, I mean, she goes through such an arc in the first book and really explores herself and this whole other world… In the second book I think Ana becomes a woman, really. It’s a really interesting thing to play, to figure out the moment in which a person becomes comfortable with themselves.”
Although the Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are both willing and eager to return to their Fifty Shades of Grey roles for future sequels, a rep for director Sam Taylor-Johnson released a statement denying that any sequels to Fifty Shades were currently in the works, adding that any reports in the media were “pure conjecture.”
“Universal has not yet announced anything pertaining to sequels.”
The reluctance of producing a sequel to the Fifty Shades film may have something to do with a story recently reported by Inquisitr that revealed conflict between the Fifty Shades writer and director, Taylor-Johnson.
