Bruce Jenner, increasingly, is reading media reports about his transition as a result of interviews with his daughters, and he’s finally asked them, politely, to shut up, say sources. The request from the Olympic gold medal winner comes on the aftermath of tension for Jenner resulting from a high publicized car crash, according to TMZ .
Initially, Bruce was unsure about allowing details to emerge, because he recognized that Keeping Up with the Kardashians might improve the ratings for his planned documentary series. However, when Jenner recognized that his daughters were spilling secrets, Bruce told them off-camera as well as on-camera that he’d had enough, said insiders.
But Bruce hasn’t been as successful in convincing his ex-wife Kris Jenner to become less vocal and more supportive, according to Radar Online .
Kris is now pondering the potential for money in the docu-series that would document Bruce’s transition. But at this point, Bruce wants her to back off, said sources.
“He wants to do his own thing,” revealed an insider. “She used to have to be in charge of everything! And when she divorced Bruce she basically said, ‘I’m not supporting you.’”

Now Kris has changed her mind, but Bruce is concerned about allowing her to control him again, added the source.
“It’s his decisions on everything and it’s his show. He won’t let her to make any decisions or have any say.”
In addition to the documentary, Bruce reportedly is planning to be interviewed by Diane Sawyer , as the Inquisitr reported. If that primetime special does occur, he will make sports history as the most successful, well-known athlete to come out as transgender.
However, some reports have emerged indicating that Sawyer already taped the interview prior to the car crash, according to the Boston Herald .

Sources say that he had talked openly with Sawyer about his ongoing transition to life as a woman.
“He seemed comfortable and relaxed,” said a fan who saw him after that planned-for-prime-time interview. “He was happy.”
But then came the car accident that changed his feelings about his life dramatically.
“This couldn’t have come at a worse time for him,” said a friend. “He is in a state of shock.”
Jenner released a statement about the car crash, which killed one woman.
“It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them.”
However, Jenner is still working on his upcoming E! show, said insiders. And during his interview with Diane, he also shared the name he plans to use.
“He referred to her in the third person,” said the source.
As for the number of episodes to be produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, which also produces Keeping Up with the Kardashians ?
“E! wants to see the footage first, then decide how many episodes,” said an insider.
But no one’s denying that the car crash impacted Jenner emotionally, added the source.
“Everybody feels for him. He’s been fighting a private battle and has come so far. Now he’s really shaken up.”
