Prince Harry Trying To Court ‘Harry Potter’ Star?

Has Prince Harry, notorious playboy and party animal, found a special someone to settle down with? According to Woman’s Day, yes he has, and it’s none other than the star who played Hermione Granger in the wildly popular Harry Potter series, Emma Watson.

The beautiful and poised British star is said to be in the process of being courted by 30-year-old Prince Harry.

Watson had been dating Matt Janney, who was an Oxford University rugby player, until their split in December. As soon as Harry found out that Watson was single, he made his move.

Harry “called on mutual friends to help him hook up with the actress” and was able to “engineer an introduction,” according to Stuff.

Prince William’s little brother was able to get Watson’s information and sent her a short e-mail saying that he would “like to get to know her,” and “invited her out,” according to Woman’s Day.

There was a small gathering, “a drinks party at his Kensington Palace apartment”, that included the two possible lovebirds along with 12 of Harry’s other friends.

A non-date date was set up because, “Harry didn’t want her to feel like she was put on the spot.”

A source for the magazine added, “A party also shows he’s fun and not stuffy.”

So how did Prince Harry and Watson feel after the party? According to Woman’s Day, the two “hit if off!”

The Prince, who has long admired Watson, the Goodwill Ambassador for the UN, thoroughly enjoyed Watson’s company with a source stating, “He’s smitten – and it’s more than Emma’s looks.”

In the past, Prince Harry has been linked to South African lawyer Chelsy Davy, Mollie King of the Saturdays, and the budding actress Cressida Bonas. Just this past year after splitting from Bonas, Harry was rumored to be with the former Miss Edinburgh beauty pageant star, Camilla Thurlow, and Egyptian heiress Enayat Younes according to IB Times.

Let’s hope that this relationship works out better than Prince Harry’s past relationships.

Harry and Emma are continuing to have “secret dates with each other” and seem to be enjoying “getting to know each other quite well.”

So, did the possible couple celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend? Unfortuantely, no.

Prince Harry spent the weekend in the Swiss Alps, skiing with a group of friends including his two younger cousins, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.
