Nick Viall Responds To Andi Dorfman’s ‘Bachelor’ Interview About Josh Murray Breakup
Ever since the start of Chris Soules’ The Bachelor season, Nick Viall, with whom Chris competed with for Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette, has been live tweeting his opinions and reactions to the episodes. After Sunday night’s The Bachelor: Chris Tells All special, Nick didn’t shy away from tweeting what he thought of Andi’s interview about her breakup with Josh Murray.
Nick posted a kind message regarding Andi.

Josh and Nick were Andi’s final two men. She ultimately sent Nick home and chose Josh, who proposed to her. At the After the Final Rose special, Nick dropped a bombshell on the viewing public when he asked Andi why she, if she did not love him, made love to him during their overnight fantasy suite date. Not surprisingly, neither Andi nor Josh liked Nick’s comment much.
During her interview with Chris Harrison, Andi Dorfman said that the breakup “was pretty mutual.” She explained that she realized that her relationship with Josh Murray wasn’t going anywhere on the night of the live The Bachelor premiere event.
“Having people ask about wedding dates and then seeing the other happy couples and people planning weddings, we had to ask ourselves, ‘Why aren’t we planning a wedding? Let’s just be honest – why is it that we don’t have a date?’… That trip was very eye-opening.”
As for exactly what went wrong in the relationship, Andi admitted that they were too alike in their personalities.
“I didn’t feel supportive and empowered and I don’t think I gave him that support and empowerment that he needed. When you have two very passionate, very strong personalities in one house and nobody can back down and nobody is the calming force for one another… it’s a lot of emotion. It’s a lot of tension in one house.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Josh tweeted a poignant message after Andi’s interview.
Interestingly enough, Nick talked about Andi and Josh’s similar personalities before the Bachelorette finale aired. As reported by RumorFix in July, 2014, Nick was secretly taped talking about the two to a friend on the phone during a plane ride.
Nick Viall described Josh Murray as someone with “a bad temper,” “really competitive,” “super emotional,” and “really insecure.” As for Andi Dorfman, he described her as someone who was “incredibly stubborn” and “passive aggressive” and who “went back to what she’s used to.”
